Job Title: Data Engineer/Senior Data Engineer



The Data Engineer will work closely with other members of development team and
business analysts to deliver high quality business application for business a
nd c-level executives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Understand data models and ETL processes to deliver high quality informatio
n to the end user.

2. Implement ETL flows using our analytic platform over Hadoop and analytic da
tabases.

3. Translate business requirements into analytics algorithms and data flows.

Knowledge and Skills
Experience in Analytics or Data warehouse environment is a plus

Basic Linux skills

Experience with processing large data is a plus

Excellent SQL capabilities

Fair knowledge of database administration

Extensive experience at least with one ETL tool

Good understanding of Database scalability techniques and Parallel ETL flows

Programming experience with a programming language such as Python or Java

Good understanding of data warehouse life cycle

Have excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

Good English written, verbal, and comprehension skills required

Education
A Bachelors degree with a major in CS, CIS, MIS, Mathematics, Engineering from top universities, or related field or equivalent experience.

Experience
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years development experience in developing data warehouses.
