Invest in Finland, Finpro Internship Program

Position Title: Intern
Status: Internship (12 months), with the possibility of an extension
Location: Zhangjiang, Shanghai (Consulate General of Finland)

Finpro helps Finnish SMEs go international, encourages foreign direct investment in Finland and promotes tourism. We bring growth to Finland. We manage major national projects including Cleantech Finland, Future Learning Finland and FinlandCare. Finpro is Export Finland, Visit Finland and Invest in Finland. We are a public organization and part of the Team Finland network.

Invest in Finland promotes foreign investments into Finland. Invest in Finland assists international companies in finding business opportunities in Finland and provide all the relevant information and guidance required to establish a business in Finland.

Program
The Invest in Finland, Finpro Intern Program is designed for Chinese students who are seeking internships with an understanding of investment and business. The program benefits both students and Finpro by providing valuable experience in a Consulate environment and by assisting Finpro in accomplishing their goals. Interns are expected to work 2-4 days/week and will receive a compensation of RMB 120/day.

Duties
Interns, reporting to the Investment Advisor at Finpro, will be responsible for:
-        Supporting the team by gathering and manipulating data
-        Researching intelligence in priority industries
-        Assisting with investment events
-        Updating and maintaining CRM system
-        Coordinating meetings at Finpro

Qualifications
-        Enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate school
-        Excellent English written and oral communication skills
-        Excellent computer skills for conducting research (MS Office)
-        Able to work in a team
-        Take initiatives, set goals and manage time independently, while seeking guidance from a manager
