Job Title：  Intern, Supply Chain Analytics

Job Description:
The intern will work on a project team of 3-4 consultants for a distribution network optimization project. The client is a large US company in food and beverage industry and the duration of the project will be 3 months.

The analyst will 
1. Aid in the collection of supply chain data for use by senior consultants in the optimization of the network 
2. Scrub data to eliminate inaccuracies and outliers which could have an inappropriate impact on the outcome of the analysis 
3. Perform queries and manipulate databases using Access or SQL 
4. Format data in Access or Excel for import into the model 
5. Join consultants on site visits to observe and map processes 
6. Perform online research to obtain cost data such as real estate, labor and transportation. 
7. Assist consultants in report preparation

The project will be completed in Shanghai.

Desired Skills and Experience: 
1. Engineering degree candidate, preferably industrial engineering 
2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
3. Interest in logistics and supply chain management 
4. Familiarity with Access, SQL and Visio preferred 
5. Proficient in Excel 
6. Fluent Chinese and basic English required
